Ah… Well, the recurring ‘gag’ is that I am a Pokemon, so OBVIOUSLY, I have Pokemon friends. I noticed that I may mention them a lot in the posts that I schedule for you guys. And so, I’ve decided to make a page that can serve as glossary (of some sort).
I don’t always talk to them, but when we do, it’s always super fun! These admirable people (yes, I admire you!) support me a lot (mental support and all), whether they know just how much or not, and I like to think that I try to reciprocate as well. [I gotta remember to write a post about that some of these days… Tea-Gardner-style, I’ll explain in a Main-Blog post].
Let me introduce them to you (the order is alphabetical, there’s no favoritism involved! XD ):
is a new friend of mine from university this summer (Summer 2014) [and also that fated first encounter with Piplup at the Captain America movie, which is now for me anyway an inside joke between me and her (and Piplup)].
She’s very patient with me and I introduced her to the whole X-Men movie franchise (I think it’s safe to say that she only recently got into superheroes). She enjoys movies more often than she enjoys TV shows [which is why I will mostly be mentioning her in my movies’ blog posts, I believe]. February 13th, 2016 edit: She also plays Friday Night Games with us nowadays as well.
She also loves reading what she calls classic novels, which is very cool in my opinion anyway. Another note to say that she’s also a Sailor Moon fan! So I will also be mentioning her a lot in posts related to Sailor Moon Crystal!
is a friend I consider as a Big Sister (if I had a big sister, I hope she’d be like her).
She’s skilled in the art of making friends, sociability is so ingrained in her that I think she can make friends within seconds of meeting them. That’s the powerful attacks she holds.
Like many of my friends, she gives out great, sound advice and is an equally great listener. February 13th, 2016: I don’t know if she’s noticed, but she doesn’t like to talk to me about her feelings though. I hope everything is going well and she has at least someone to talk about if she has things she needs to say…?
So great, in fact, that I feel sometimes like she takes care of me more than I do her (also just like with most of my friends), hahaha!!
Charmander (or Char) (tumblr)
is my poet friend [also a great co-author, by the way, we write for fun once per summer, it’s quite the entertainment for the brain and it’s always fun to have someone to write with (I find anyway)].
You may or may not have met her from my ‘many’ posts on Tumblr. I like to harass her a lot, I’m so sorry, Char!
Together, we form the Royal Duo!
She knows best how to weave words and structure them into something beautiful.
She’s magnificent at both being a poetess and also a writer, definitely check her out if you can!
is a friend I had when we were in high school, and then, in cegep!
It’s been awhile since I’ve last spoken to him, but it was pretty fun to talk with him. He’s also a pretty good author, from what I remember reading from his work.
Sometimes, he gives me recommendations for anime and mangas.
If I recall well, we read this manga together… Medaka Box, until I put it on-hold because I wasn’t sure whether or not I wanted to continue it… He’s also one of the few people who know about the Pokemon Special or Pokemon Adventure manga…? And of course KINGDOM HEARTS.
is a nice ‘cousin’ of mine.
We see each other like what? A few times a year for ‘family’ gatherings [February 13th, 2016 edit: not much anymore, actually], and it’s always super fun to talk to him, because despite his young age, I feel like he’s pretty mature.
He loves superheroes as much as I do, so that helps greatly (in my head anyway).
Our most notable discussion topics (apart from being school-related and weather-related), would be about the Legend of Korra show as well as Young Justice show (or, at least, we used to discuss the latter… *sniffles* Yeah, I’m okay *sniffles* I’m still okay, but… Let me just… recover… *rolls in a corner and cries a little*).
is the baby of my family.
He arrived with us in 2012 and he’s like a PRINCESS (literally). He’s always very whiny and loves to get our attention. He loves to be taken in our arms too, which is good as long as he’s small and not too fat and doesn’t cry or scratch us (hahaha).
Sometimes, I don’t know what to do with him when he gets all needy. In those moments, I feel like I lack the knowledge to know what he wants and what he needs. In consequence, I turn to my super knowledgeable friend, Growlithe (yes, I consider her my specialist in those problems) for help and advice.
It’s a great thing that he shares this affinity with Leafeon, or else, I sincerely wouldn’t always know how to treat him and when to stop making teasing him.
is a little sister of mine.
She does the silliest of things, which I should start recording. It’d be a great base for a story or at least a fun comic to do (that is, when I find the correct style to draw it in).
I’m not sure what we would talk about that I would use her tag in a post, but yes, her name is already taken, haha.
You may or may not have met her on this post.
So I’ve known Gengar since… I think since 2014, if my memory serves.
He’s a really fun horror movie loving person [I won’t judge, I’m just not that much into movies that scare you with blood and jump scares] who also enjoys comic books and superhero movies as well as anime and manga! We also used to go Pokemon Go hunting together but, well, the craze for that has pretty much died down and also it’s near impossible for me to be walking around with my ankle in the winter so hunting for Pokemon isn’t as easy anymore. Maybe in the spring? You might see more and more of him mostly in my movie reviews.
is my ‘cousin’ [see what I did there, with the Eeveelutions?].
He’s the other person that I talk to about Legend of Korra. He introduced me to this show called Gravity Falls (HILARIOUS).
He’s AWESOME. His art is AMAZING.
He started doing art and I absolutely love the improvements. I admire this greatly, despite his young age. He diversifies in mediums and in styles, and he just KEEPS improving and improving [whether he sees it or not]!
Also, I work on Project 123456789 with him. (He’s also quite the Name Rater (I’m just sayin’ please, hahahaha)).
is a friend that I know since… so long, and yet, I still remember the first time we met and talked (which is inconsistent, because I have a pretty faulty memory [though she’ll argue she has it worse]).
We work together on VELPIa. Her art is simply awesome [she’s very critic about it also, she sees flaws everywhere]! I love to see the changes as the years pass.
She’s one of the people who know me enough to provide me with awesome anime/manga suggestions. So far, she’s never failed me (right? Hmm… To my memory anyway!).
She also provides me with endless anecdotes about animals [I love the way she tells her stories, it’s brilliant] and gives me very good advice in how to deal with a lot of things, Eevee especially, hahaha.
is a friend with such a ‘joie de vivre‘ around her that her smile can be qualified as both simple and contagious.
Just like Bulbasaur and Mew, she has this unbelievable skill to socialize with other people. What helps, I think, is that she has a wide range of understanding combined with an equally wide range of empathy as well as a grand interest in other people.
I met her alongside Mew, Noctowl, Lapras and Jigglypuff. She’s REALLY much inseparable with Mew. It’s like they’re twins. It’s always hilarious (though at first it was quite the scene) to see them ‘fight’ so much. They’re hilarious and, if I’d had a say in the matter, I’d have dubbed them the Plusle and Minun, just because.
Igglybuff puts everyone at ease (except maybe Mew, but that’s another story) and always considers others, sometimes forgetting herself on the way. I’ve lost count of the times I picked up her coat or even her cellphone for her because I was afriad she’d forget them when she’d wander off to another place to socialize. Hahaha!
is a friend I met around the same time I met Noctowl, Mew and Lapras.
Just like them, she has a high tolerance for my immaturity and for workloads with people who are more bossy and, frankly, less agreeable.
She’s very cute and so very nice with people and, also, very stylish! Despite her chosen pokemon, she’s very tall and I think that her choice of clothes, all the time, is so very fashionable. [I-wish-I-had-your-height-plz!!!]
Whenever I have trouble dealing with Eevee, I turn to her and to Growlithe for advice.
She’s does a lot of sports and this was so different from what I was used to in terms of friends. Just as with all the friends that I put here, I’m extremely happy to have met Jigglypuff.
is an extremely good friend of mine, almost like a ‘sister’, (:3) whom I don’t always talk to, but I always find a lot of pleasure in talking with her.
She gives great advice and is a great listener (of course, if you want to give good advice, you gotta listen to the problem as a whole and stuff, yeah? Then, analyze the situation and then give the advice).
Just like with Rapidash, there’s this connection where we’re usually always on the same wavelength. It’s amazing, haha.
She draws, she sings, she can do so many artistic things [photography, etc.] also.
Check out her awesome art!!
is my little sister.
She’s the only one of us in my family who plays this game called League of Legends? If you come to my house and hear a girl shouting at people? She’s most probably going to be playing the game and insulting the people she’s playing with/against (hahaha).
She’s made it a lifetime goal to always bring me back on Earth, which is a great thing to do, I guess. Leafeon and I retaliate by teasing her about a lot of things also (we love it), hahaha.
You may or may not have met her here, on my Tumblr post.
is a friend of the same year as Noctowl and Mew.
She’s so understanding and cute. No matter what your point of view is, she sees your point and if another person has a different point of view than yours, she’ll still see their point also. She’s really nice. Sometimes, I think, too nice, but that’s a part of her charm, seriously.
She’s a great teammate also, you can guess, because of these ‘qualities’ (?), she can endure the tough workload with a smile and a good word for everyone. Gotta admire positive people!
She watches shows like: Once Upon a Time, Sleepy Hollow and even Black List.
is my youngest sister.
She likes Kpop [don’t take B2st’s Kikwang from her, she bites] and likes to draw [she’s really good at it also].
She is pretty critic (more than me, that is, that’s why it’s awesome to play together, you can make the average of our ratings and find the middle-ground) about the games that we play together and she has a pretty keen eye to find objects.
She first appeared on this post.
is an old friend of mine from when I just moved over here, from the big city. We were in the same class, if I remember, in grade 4, and when we graduated out of elementary school, we even went through the IB program and survived that as well (I think. I remember that he was also pretty good in music, because I used him as reference for musical theory queries). I haven’t talked to him much, though we really began chatting again because we went to the same showing of Batman V Superman, in the same venue (what a coincidence!). He enjoys Greek Mythology as well as superheroes [both from DC and from MARVEL, though he tells me he’s more interesting in the DCEU than the MCU… we’ll see how this goes], which is a lot of things in common which we’ll be discussing in the future, which is why I’m adding him to my Pokedex: you’ll be hearing a lot from him probably.
is an acquaintance who advises me about a LOT of anime (as a matter of fact, when you look at my myAnimeList anime list (hahaha how redundant), whenever I write “adviser”, he’s the one whom I refer to).
Thanks to him, I’ve watched a lot of nice anime, like the first ever anime review that I ever posted here (Sword Art Online), and countless others that I am schedule-posting here right now.
February 13th, 2016 edit: We don’t talk much anymore, mostly because… I think he’s still mad at me for accidentally spoiling Gin no Saji plot to him… I’M SO SORRY, BRO! (Maybe I’m the one who’s being weird about it, because I’m just naturally awkward).
is a great friend I’ve met alongside Noctowl.
Her abilities range from theater art (I wish I could see her perform more), to writing, passing by the talent of handling kids (yes, that should be considered an ART, even).
She has this great sense of justice, a passion that would fuel her for miles and miles and an immense sense of patience (especially for people who are as dedrater as I am) I consider absolutely admirable.
She has impeccable taste and she’s even of the ones who recommended Legend of the Seeker to me, which Chamander and I have started watching summer 2013.
is the friend who introduced me to the awesomeness of Hidden Objects games. 🙂 I later learned that another person, a common friend of ours, had actually shown her the games… hahaha. And then, the two of us (with Munchlax) made Bayleef addicted as well… we are… unstoppable.
She’s petite and so cute, seriously [why did she choose Mewtwo? Well, I don’t know 😛]!
She also watches a lot of awesome shows [Elementary and
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., only to name some (she watches a LOT more than I do)], so I look forward to discussing about them with her.
We also worked on Incolo together with our friend Charmander!! (
until it burned to pieces).
Munchlax [Check out her WordPress Blog]
is a friend I met last year (2012-2013), we’re in the same program but also have the same nationality (even though we have trouble communicating in the same language, due to our differing regional accents), she knows her dramas extremely well, and has knowledge and interest in playing Hidden Object Games [which is why I just realized that I mention her a lot in my posts, but I’ve never quite updated the Pokedex to include her!!!]. Not only that, but she’s even a great foodie, which means that she knows every possible food place that you can go to whenever you want to. One of these days, I should probably ask her as well as my other friend Bayleef, who is also a foodie, to contribute to a separate food related blog… that would be very interesting… maybe we can make something happen… or something… I’ll keep you posted, but the blog has been made already!
is a friend I know from… wow, it’s been too long, I can’t remember… [
which doesn’t mean that we’re getting old (does it?)].
We don’t always hang out (I don’t do hanging out anyways), but she’s great and really nice. Not only that, but she’s pretty honest and, by my memory, she’s extremely resourceful. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a problem she couldn’t solve [
but that could be my faulty memory, you know me!]!
I’ll be honest also, whenever I talk about Vampire Diaries [so whenever I write about the show, she’s probably bound to be mentioned, remember this cute and tough face!], she’s always someone I turn automatically to. It just feels right to tag her in any Vampire Diaries Facebook status, etc.
Noctowl (tumblr, WordPress)
is one of the most worldly friends I know of. She always brings this other side of the coin that I don’t consider?
She watches anime thanks to her roommate (thank you!) and watches a LOT of TV series as well (which we talk about sometimes, namely the Vampire Diaries show).
She suggested I watch Teen Wolf, and I’m writing it here so that I can remember that I should go and watch it, hahaha!
She also watches Dexter, Hannibal, New Girl, MARVEL’s Agents of SHIELD, Walking Dead, and Supernatural (she loves that show so much that it makes me want to watch, but it kind of is too gory for my immature mind (I’m working my way up to that level though, I promise)).
is a friend that I work with a lot of collaborations [somehow, when we meet, we do this, hahaha], and CanonD.
I love her art style [she can do a lot of styles also, which is amazing] and her continuous artistic exploits (with different mediums even, check out her art blog some time! (the link is in her tumblr also)) constantly amaze me.
Not only that, but I also love her sense of humour and her honesty. I love how that beautiful mind works [Allright, I’m-gonna-stop-now-because-I’ll-sound-even-more-creepy-plz].
Also, if I were in a show of some sort, she’d be the tech person I go to to de-bug some program, or track down some criminals I have to catch (that’s how awesomely technological she is [oh, and she taught me (the beginnings of) how to use Photoshop!]).
Rapidash (despite her level, I’m older than she is, I promise! >.<)
is a great friend also with whom we co-authored Endless Chronicles, back in high school.
She’s the first person I ever collaborated with, also. As far as I remember anyway…?
It was awesome to write during class and everything [kids, don’t do this at school, it takes a great toll on your life and school life].
We’re also on the same wavelength and it’s cool that way; we both hate jeeps.
She’s a talented writer though she procrastinates a lot [YOU KNOW YOU DO, RAPIDASH, YOU KNOW YOU DO!] (hahaha, but all of us do actually, so I don’t blame you for being lazy… but…).
is a Master Pokemon Battler, back in the day anyway.
He’s pretty nice although I will admit that sometimes, I sort of wish that school things didn’t get in our way so much…
I told you guys about him a little bit, he’s the one who ‘made me’ watch Kyoukai no Kanata for Anime Fall Season 2013… and then promptly ditched me while we were watching it. He’s… an enigma, maybe… At any rate, yeah, I’ll probably keep mentioning him… sometimes…
is a really nice person I met in college.
She is a great friend of mine who loves playing certain games [I mean what?] and who loves her boyfriend [I ship them together because they’re so cute together, seriously!], who is not in my Pokedex.
She’s an adorable person who loves cats, so I feel that it is quite, most appropriate to use this adorable kitty Pokemon as her persona in my Pokedex.
I don’t really know what kind of posts I would post about in which I would use her tag, but we’ll just have to see, right?
are my little students.
Recently, I’ve been talking about them a lot on both my main blog and on this one, so I thought I should probably write them into here, so you could understand. I could be talking about one kid from this grade, at this specific year, or I could be talking about this other sweet child from this other grade, at another specific time of the year… you would never know, and that’s why they’re Unowns, they’ll stay unknown to people so you can’t stalk them… hopefully…
is my little brother.
You may or may not recognize him from this post.
He’s also a superhero fan (though less than I am, I think, and I think I can safely say that he is NOT a DC Comics fan as much as he is a MARVEL fan. February 13th, 2016 edit: If he didn’t understand the Deadpool plot by watching the trailer, I don’t think he’s that much of a good fan though…? But maybe it’s just me…).
His hobbies include soccer (and sports in general), toning his body (for obvious reasons, I guess), food and Marvel: the Avengers’ Alliance (the Facebook game, as I used to play, but I don’t anymore though, because…).
is a pretty good superhero friend.
I met Wynaut at a certain local anime convention, back in 2014. We also realized that we also subscribed to Loot Crate and he also loves superhero comics and then, lastly, we talked a lot thanks to One Punch Man (I really have to start making reviews for those)! That’s awesome, isn’t it? We mostly only started talking at the end of 2015, but it’s really nice to have a second opinion about most of these superhero things. I like talking about comics and catching up on comics or webcomics with him for that reason, haha, even though our visions sometimes differ by a lot, it seems.
And I have more friends (Really, Ponyo? (Yep)), if I start mentioning them, I’ll add them as I go along. If you don’t see someone that I previously mentioned, please do tell me. 🙂
I’ll probably refer to them one day or another, and seriously, I’m getting freakishly tired [read: PISSED OFF] of constantly being asked, so…
Andrea is the third baby in my little family.
She’s a Google Nexus 7, the old 32gb ANDROID tablet model.
A lot of my series, I watch using her and this very handy application (which can read even 10-bit and .mkv files and blue-ray files) and a lot of my books, using this awesome application [it can even read COMIC files, come on, how awesome is that], I read.
There are so many applications (and games) that are so useful (and others not useful), that I have with her.
If you have any suggestions or questions about the ones I use, please, I’d be happy to answer to the best of my abilities.
Dellima is the eldest of all my little babies.
She’s a DELL laptop I had for about seven years. She was my trusty friend through some of the best years of this life I’ve lived so far.
Eventually (and very unfortunately), she became hysterical, gradually became blind and then, in the end, she… Well, she broke down.
She’s never met her siblings, sadly [well, she was never sane enough to ‘meet’ them properly, I mean]. They come with me to visit her from time to time though!
Hiba is the second eldest of the little family. He is also the eldest alive of the tech family.
He is my most trustworthy Toshiba laptop, with whom I write emails, and school notes (yeah, I take notes with my laptop instead of writing traditionally), (Tumblr/Wordpress) posts, play my Hidden Objects puzzle Games, play on Facebook, etc.
He’s holding up great so far, although his affinity with viruses is quite intriguing…
Nessie is the latest addition to my little family. [i.e. she’s the baby of the family thus far]
She’s a Google NEXUS 4 that I had, well, in 2013 (this year as I’m currently writing this).
So far so good, she’s holding up to my expectations [and I had plenty, I think].
I’m keeping her light of applications and as a result, I find her very fast and efficient.
She gets along great with her sister Andrea, and I suspect that’s because I always keep them very close to me whenever I’m in the subway or in the bus (because I’m *that* bored).
Since using the VS Seeker, I usually track down the people with whom I want to fight in Pokemon, I feel it very fitting for Nessie, though other Pokemon devices would have done the job also.
WaDe is my second youngest so far.
He is a MyPassport Wade external hard drive.
He carries the heavy burden of backing up Hiba’s data and everything, so why not the Pokeball which can hold the Heavy Pokemons?
He likes to keep to himself most of the time [he doesn’t interact much with his sisters], but he’s very friendly with his big brother Hiba, I think it’s because they hang out more.
He’s so small to carry such a heavy burden that I’m sorely thinking of getting him a twin who can maybe help out a little bit.
I’ll follow Piplup’s lead though, and wait till external hard drives are cheaper (because that’s how I roll (or rather, how I gallop?)).

They’re pretty amazing!
